Get Ready to Ride and Play

While you can just come and watch, you can also participate in the fun. Bring your mule, horse, or wagon, so you can ride in the races and participate in other events. There are tons of races, and awards will be given out on April 28. If you enter the race, the organizers will weigh your wagon to make sure you’re carrying enough weight. If you aren’t, they’ll add some steel to ensure that the races are fair.

There’ll also be trail rides you can embark on, plus all kinds of western activities. For instance, you can take part in the horseshoe tournament and then do a little pasture roping.

Engage in Some Competitions

This event is also like a mini-rodeo. There is pasture roping, barrel race competitions, and more. Be sure to grab a good spot, so you can take these events in. Thousands of people come to Diamond B Ranch to see these events, so get there early and secure your space.

Learn During the Event

This event is also educational in nature. The clinics are among some of the most popular activities at the event. Where else can you learn how to barrel race or make food in a Dutch oven? You can even learn about hoof care when you come here. The clinics are spread out, so you can easily go to each one that’s offered.

Get Ready for the Music

Back in the Wild West, cowboys used to sing around the campfire. Here, cowboys and cowgirls pick up the mic and sing karaoke. There will be karaoke on Friday at 9 p.m. There’ll also be live music throughout the event, so your boots will get to tap when you attend.

Chuckwagons are fun for racing, but do you want to take a chuckwagon around Palestine? When it comes to getting around, you need a vehicle that’s up to the challenge. That means it’s time to go to Palestine Toyota in Palestine, Texas, and get a new ride.
