Hear Some Classic Country at the Dogwood Jamboree

The Dogwood Jamboree is back for its 13th event and ready to entertain your entire family with a great lineup. This time’s theme is Branson Style Music, and its sure to be full of fun. The concert will let you reminisce about some of your favorite country songs, including golden hits. Get ready for the upcoming love performances by talented musicians!

What You Need to Know

To make the most of the Dogwood Jamboree, you need to know when and where it is. This event will be on Saturday, August 12th. The musicians take the stage at 7 p.m., and the music continues until 10 p.m. It is right here in Palestine at the Palestine Civic Center, so you should have no problem finding the concert. If you don’t remember where that is, it is by Loop 256 and Highway 19 North. If you wait to buy your tickets at the door, they will cost $15, or you can buy them before August 11th for $12.50.

Who’s Playing at Dogwood Jamboree

The artists at this time’s Dogwood Jamboree are sure to impress. In addition to the Jamboree Band and its backup singers, you will get to see the talents of Jack Hall, Joe Hancock, Mike Kellogg, Dan Manuel, “Jus C. Leroy”, Tavi Spivey, W. J. Copeland, Rodney Ray, George Lester, Shelia Weaver, Sissy Perry, Hal Roper, and Amanda Lane. With all of this great talent, expect guitars, banjos, woodwinds, keyboards, fiddles, vocal stylings, and more!

Although all of these special guests are exciting, lots of guests are anticipating Jack Hall’s exciting performance. He has performed across Texas and has previously been part of the Dogwood Jamboree in his “Hall Brothers” group. Get ready to see him and the other outstanding performers hit the stage!

See Young Talented Artists as Well

In addition to these big names, the Dogwood Jamboree will feature performances by three young artists. This continues an annual tradition where young musicians get the chance to audition for the show and then wow the judges before moving on and earning the chance to perform at other venues. During their performances, the three young musicians will compete to see who goes onto the finals on December 2nd. It’s sure to be a treat to see these young musicians showcase their talent!

Meet People from Around the Region

The Dogwood Jamborees take place every few months, and they consistently draw a large crowd from around the area. In June, for example, people came from North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Alabama, and New Mexico. Within Texas, some made the drive from Corpus Christi and Amarillo!
