It’s  about that time where we start kissing some of our favorite Netflix specials goodbye. With the celebration of Independence Day right around the corner, it is also time to say farewell to some Netflix favorites. Lucky for you, these losses will be replaced by some amazing hits. What could be a better way to celebrate the treacherously hot July days that lie ahead than with some good old American Television. For a full list of what is arriving in July, check out this list.

BoJack Horseman

This animated series will air again for the third time on Netflix this summer. The fictional series follows BoJack Horseman – a washed up Hollywood star – through his inner demons. Despite being an actor in Hollywood (and a horse) this show has deeper underlying meanings. This show offers some satirical relief to the inner workings of the show business. Season 3 is about to give us an even darker comedy with deceptively cuddly depictions, so get ready.

Friends from College (Season 1)

Premiering on July 14, another new good comedy sitcom is coming to the Netflix-sphere. The plot begins with a group of friend who are trying to get over their mid-life crises together. Six friends reunite years after graduating Harvard University together and begin to try and piece together their fragile lives. The show explores the theme of friendship, which is often complicated, and the struggles of adulthood. You can catch stars such as Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, and plenty more. OZARK

Starring everyone’s favorite A&D character Jason Bateman, this will fill any Netflixer’s schedule who loved the show Bloodline.  The show is recognized as an unidentified spinoff of Breaking Bad to help answer any questions. It tells the story about one man who relocates to a new city in hopes of wiping his drug dealing slate clean. In this fictional world that is fueled by bad decisions, you could probably imagine it doesn’t go over so well for our main guy. This dark drama will be available toward the end of July. The Shannara Chronicles

This frilly MTV fantasy-based storyline wound up being the network’s saving grace by the end of the year. It is one of Netflix’s highest-rated shows of 2017 and is based on the popular Terry Brooks novels. The story follows mythical creatures such as orcs, elves, and half humans on the ultimate quest. MTV poured a lot of money into this saga hoping to follow in the Game of Thrones footsteps and it shows. This splashy, heavy fantasy adventure might just be the perfect fit for those upcoming summer days.
