Directions

You know how to make a smoothie, don’t you? Just take all of your ingredients and throw them into a blender together. Put it on high and wait until you notice that the liquid inside is nice and smooth without any chunks.

The spirulina in this recipe is optional, but it does give the smoothie a pretty green flavor. If you wanted to up the health factor, you could also add in fresh greens, like kale, that would have a similar effect.

Of course, feel free to substitute, add, or remove anything from the ingredient list to customize this smoothie to your liking. After all, it should be about what tastes best to you.

Try this smoothie once, and you’ll keep coming back to it again and again all winter long … and maybe even during the summer, too!
