You can expect top performance from the TRD Pro with its new FOX suspension components. Plus, its upper control arms are TRD-forged aluminum, so obstacles become easy to drive over.
On top of that, there is a higher suspension lift. Specifically, the lift is 0.5 inches in the rear and 1.5 inches in the front. There are also great angles. For example, the break-over angle is 26.6 degrees, the departure angle is 24.7 degrees, and the approach angle is 36.4 degrees. Each of these is an improvement from the previous generation.
Control the new truck with the six-speed manual or automatic. This controls the 3.5-liter V6 engine, equipped with VVT-iW technology and Atkinson-cycle combustion. Additionally, it has the D-4S fuel injection system, so it produces 265 pound-feet and 278 horsepower.
Technology for Adventures
The technology in the 2022 Tacoma TRD Pro is also adventure-ready. For instance, you get the Multi Terrain Monitor, which lets you use the 8-inch touch screen. Then, you can see the front, side, and rear cameras. Additionally, you can use that touchscreen to connect your truck using Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, or Apple CarPlay.
