Bluegrass Festival

There are always a lot of music festivals to check out during the summertime, but not all of them are created equally. If you want to enjoy something really special, you should come on out to the 41st Labor Day Bluegrass Festival. For 40 years, this bluegrass festival has been the place to be for people who like this kind of music. If you want to experience it this year, you’re in luck – it’s right around the corner. It will be taking place on Aug. 31 to Sept. 3. That means you get to enjoy an entire weekend of incredible music. You can catch it at 357 Salmon Lake Road in Grapeland, Texas, only a short drive from the Palestine area. If you are interested in attending, get more information about what you can expect below. You’re sure to have an amazing time.

Choose Your Tickets

As this is a festival, you have several ticket options to choose from, so you can pick whatever works best with your budget and schedule. If you want to experience everything the entire festival has to offer, then you should go with a weekend pass. This costs $55 if you buy in advance, and that gives you access to all four days of the festival. If you decide to buy at the gate, though, you’ll have to pay $65.

However, not everyone wants to be there for the entire thing. In that case, you can just buy tickets for the days you want to attend. On Thursday, the event will be running from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and a ticket costs $15. Friday and Saturday will both be from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., and those tickets cost $20 each. And on Sunday, there will be music from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and you’ll also pay $15 for a ticket then.

Go Camping

When you want to have a true festival experience, you can always camp at the site of the festival! That means you don’t even have to figure out daily transportation. Bring your RV and set everything up, and you’ll have the best weekend ever. The price per night is $20.
