  • Use an Ice Chest as a Fridge – When you have a large family gathering, the refrigerator might begin to pile up with all the food you have prepared – not to mention leftovers! That’s why it’s a great idea to have a cooler handy. Consider using a separate cooler for beverages or other condiments. That way, the fridge door won’t constantly be open.
  • Use a Slow Cooker For Mashed Potatoes – Mashed Potatoes are important for many meals – especially Thanksgiving meals. Unfortunately, mashed potatoes don’t taste quite as good when cooled. So, to keep them warm, consider using a crockpot.
  • Use a Thermos as a Gravy Warmer – Just like you kept the potatoes warm, it’s a good idea to keep the gravy warm as well. After all, no one likes cold gravy either. Consider using a thermos for gravy!
  • Distract Your Guests – So, what do we mean by this? Have your alcohol separated from the kitchen area. This will keep your guests occupied without them interrupting your kitchen skills.
